Why Alchemical Movements?

From graceful aerial arts to dynamic dance techniques, Cheri (Owner & Instructor), offers a diverse range of classes designed to nurture mind, body and soul. Specializing in building a solid foundation for beginners, Cheri equips you with the skills, understanding and confidence you need to elevate your dance and aerial arts practice to the next level.

With an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters creativity, strength, courage and artistry, every student feels safe and empowered to explore their potential!

About Cheri

Cheri Wilson began her movement journey competing in dance at age two. She studied a variety of genres such as jazz, ballet, tap, clogging, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, partnering, floor bar, pilates and musical theatre. She entered a highly competitive level of training under Perseverance Dance Company (a pre-professional company) in her youth, learning from esteemed choreographers of LA, Chicago and New York.

Between dance and four years of gymnastics, Cheri discovered a passion for seeing what her body is truly capable of. Finding the aerial arts in adulthood supported this passion and grew her overall interest for fitness and wellbeing.

Over the past three years, she has helped others explore their potential as a reiki energy practitioner, aerial arts instructor, emotional intelligence practitioner and a dance instructor and choreographer. Cheri offered a variety of aerial genres during this time, such as, restorative aerial, aerial yoga, beginner aerial sling and beginner aerial silks while teaching dance technique and choreography classes to recreational and competitive dancers, and choreographing for a competitive dance company.

Cheri brings her knowledge of dance, gymnastics, mental health, aerial and fitness together to serve the community as a well-rounded, mindful supporter.
